WHP HAVE EXPERIENCE ON RENOVATION OF LISTED BUILDINGS, AND BUILDINGS USING GREEN TECHNOLOGY. APPOINTED AS QUANTITY SURVEYORS AND/OR MONITORING SURVEYORS ON A NUMBER OF INDIVIDUAL PROJECTS WHERE CONSERVATION AND RESTORATION HAS BEEN AT THE FOREFRONT.
These include:-
- Monitoring Surveyor services for Visitor/Education Centre at Stirley Farm , Huddersfield for
Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. This project included rebuilding of an existing derelict farm building to
PassivHaus standards including a bespoke MHVR system .
- Refurbishment of Grade 2 listed Crown Liquor Store public house in Belfast owned by the
National Trust and managed by Mitchells & Butlers. This required extensive restoration work to
the external tiled fabric , stained glass windows, specialist paint ceiling and features, internal
joinery cubicles and mouldings and the unique tiled bar all by specialist Conservators.
- Refurbishment of derelict mills in Batley, West Yorkshire to bring them back to life for more
modern use as shops, flats and offices.
- Extension and refurbishment of existing Jacobean Barn for Mitchells & Butlers.
